Hi, I am Jess.


Hello! My name is Jess and welcome to my little place in the world. I am so happy that you have found my website and that you are considering working together. I am a wedding and elopement photographer that resides in Alberta, Canada. Places that you will normally find me shooting are: Banff, Canmore, Jasper, Nordegg, Edmonton, Vermilion, Wainwright, Drumheller and Kananaskis. I love going to new places to photograph and some of my favourites so far have been: Iceland, Mexico, Newfoundland, Vancouver Island, Alaska and Nevada. 

I am available to travel wherever your heart desires.

A bit more about me for those curious


I am a wife to Brendan and mother to three wonderful kids, Emily, Elijah and Briar. We have three pets in our home: a ragdoll cat named Norman and two happy-go-lucky golden retrievers named Poppy and Juno. We trip over them constantly and our house is often full of fur, but we love them dearly! I enjoy spending my summer days travelling around to explore new areas with my friends and family and my winters are spent with a good book. During the week, I am a mental health social worker working on Wainwright military base. I am currently taking extra classes so my evenings involve studying (and editing photos!) I enjoy being a jokester and try to bring light to those around me. Those that know me often say that I am quick on my feet and can stay calm, cool and collected under pressure (there once was a time that my friends and I almost got struck by lightning driving home from a fun day out. I got us out of there while talking us through it. No big deal!) I am friendly and personable and always looking to make valuable connections with those around me. You're into travel? Let's chat about that! You spend all day with your kids? I love kids and want to know more about your days! You like fishing? I know of some great spots to check out. All in all, I want to be not only to be your photographer, but a friend that gets to go on an epic journey with you and document some of your memories.
